hi,
was talking to a few of you's a few weeks back about people dumping grass in my field. was getting paper to do article on it, but everyweek, something came up with them. now they are going to run story and want all details on it. so any good simple straight to the point information you all have please share.
bascially horses eat grass cutting's, that is too small for stomach to digest and cause gases and colics them and death can happen in less than 24 hours. also it is caused by fermentation (spelt wrong) when grass it cut and left for a few hours to heat, this is the problem horses eat it colic and death. thanks anything else apart from fact nobody should be dumping any where never mind in animal's field. i know people can do this out of a good deed and think it is a treatfor the horse, and most people just dont know and are not aware of what can happen. but do not feed or dump in other people's fields.
