I have a lovely looking grey dun Highland mare with white spots like Troytown. I was tempted to show her the programme this evening on how she as a Highland is supposed to behave. She appears to have a more TB yearling temperament than a typical Highland pony!! At least she is pretty and is very sociable but I'm dreading actually having to sit on her if I do ever find a saddle wide enough.
Our first pony was a Highland, he was gorgeous! I don't think we had any control over him, we'd just sit there while he ambled about doing his own thing!!! I miss him a lot!
I know, made life easier!!! He was great, such a character. I think he was about 23/24 when we had him!! He did quite well as a stallion showing in his youth, 20 years before he came to us
