I don't:o

My tack was well over due a good clean so finally got around to it today. On one set of reins the billets (where you attach the reins to the bit) have a lot of movement in them, I can move them side to side very easily but the leather is in good condition, should there be any movement in the billet?

The other pair of reins (a different make) has no movement at all,I really can't afford new reins unless it is really necessary :(.

Having an equine girraffe, my OH thinks he needs longer reins, not at the prices quoted I know, I have offered to lend him my western reins which go on for ever, for all I agree with him if the horse puts his head down theres no reins left, that's 17hh TB's for you.
Anyone out there with longer than average reins for sale, preferably in brown please pm me
