Having decided that Pernamax just wasnt wokring for my two "cripples", Ive now moved onto Premierflex plus. At £44.99 for 4 months supply (at minimum maintenance dose) its contains devils claw and HA.

I'll let you all know how it goes....

That will be interesting! I'll be keen to know how you get on.

I've had brilliant results with Pernamax. Were you crushing the tablets? It's easy for horses to spit them out otherwise!

I've stopped the Mobifor my horse was on (vet strength Superflex) as I no longer get it on insurance, and I have switched to Apple Cider Vinegar which is a LOT cheaper, so it will be interesting to see if my horse maintains her current excellent mobility.

No, I didnt need to crush as both horses ate it in the hard feed... I use corner mangers and they never left a scrap.

My main issue was that I had to have a break in supply. I used the 160 tablets to "load" 2 horses, meaning that at the end of the loading period, I ran out. I reordered in good time but they never came...I rang twice but despite promising to ring back, they never did.

PFP came next day and we are on day 3. He lunged sound in a very slow jog trot on concrete this morning (Im keeping a daily check on him for comparison). He would normally be very footy as he is turned out at the knee.....

That's a shame - my boys have been P Equine for over six months and I've never had a problem with orders??? - but good luck with the new one, interested to hear outcome.

Incidentially, was chatting with the people who answer the phone today at Pernamax (more orders, more money spent!!) and they have a new patch coming out soon which sounds good. Its been trialled on an equine unit at an Agricultural College and shown exceptional results - might be worth a look?? (if you use it let me know!)

I was also disappointed that you couldnt get the free loading dose if you wanted to try it on multiple horses - instead we would have to register mock accounts and give other email addresses. Didnt seem to right to me.

I emailed them to say my horse was having problems accepting the taste, and they offered to send me extra tablets free to make up for any she may have spat out (this was before I worked out the best method was to crush them). I was also encouraged to persevere because of their confidence in the effectiveness of the product. I only mention this because your experience with their customer services wasn't at all the same as mine.
