Okkkk for laughs, and also to see if I am capable of doing some dressage with the ex p2p horse other half is letting me play with...going to a local walk and trot dressage thingy...

Now I was doing really well learning the test until I got to this....
First bits are easy, then this...

FXH Free walk on long rein
H Walk on a contact
C Halt 5 seconds then proceed at work
B Trot

Ok so far.......

then....(am I being really thick??)

A Circle LEFT 20m diameter
A-E Walk

Now if I circle left at A at that time I work out I will have to jump of the arena....is this a typo or am I reading it all wrong...??????

I was so chuffed that I remembered the first part, then it all turned to poo..........

I have until 16th feb to learn this one and another one!

Help xxx

PS, I HAVE NEVER DONE DRESSAGE IN MY LIFE, I AM A JUMPER THROUGH AND THROUGH but really would like to broaden my horizons in case my back totally gives up with jumping!

Def sounds to me like it should be circle RIGHT at A...

If it was eg a prelim, you could go on dr diagrams & have a look, which is what I do cos I'm easily baffled, but assuming it's the venue's 'own' test, could you ring them & check?

thank you for that, I was beginning to feel really thick! - will ring them tomorrow!!! or charlie76 if you see this post can you check test 2 for 16th Feb!!!

Thanks for your replies, I was about to give up again lol!!

xxxx

basically its a 20 metre circle at the bottom end of the school so in this case the A end - id get the dressage diagrams im a jumper and had to do some dressage with my youngster i could only do it learning it wil the diagrams !!

what test is it i have some on email with diagrams ???

I've just noticed that you said your back is giving up on jumping... 2 things that have helped me tremendously... 1) Heather Moffat seatbone safer (I now have saddles with it 'built in' to the seat). 2) If your problem is sacro iliac joint, try a Serola strap (google for it). It's like having a new spine. T x
