ok saddler came back out today

and said with regards to the sideways movement, she said partly due to me used to old saddle that didnt move at all and fact that she moves on top and im not used to that, altho she has taken saddle away to pad it abit as was touching my bum in trot

so fingers crossed its fixed the roll abit as well.

altho she said i can either pick it up tomoz or she can drop it back saturday would like to start using sooner rather than later so should i go get it again its about 45min drive from me??

well its secondhand but new to me and horse, thing is saddle i had was pressing into shoulders too much, she hadnt seen me ride in it so i phoned coz was moving more than i thought should. she came out watched me ride, and has taken it away to adjust it.

Why taken away to adjust? My saddler flocks on-site, that way can see it on horse again.

How loose is your horse's skin?

well i can see when it moves that skin is moving so ?? dunno im no expert obviously i have one very odd horse

uh i could try. anyone saddle coming back tomoz hopefully. basically when ur sat in it with horse stood still, and u put weight from side to side saddle moves bout inch but skin also moves the same??

I don't think this is right. I would ask the saddler to watch what happens when you put the saddle on again, and get her to correct it.

Saddles shouldn't move side to side by inches, really think you ought to have that looked at again!

well dont think tree is broke.

she has taken it away to put bit of padding in, get it back tomoz, so if it still aint right then

Are you also saying that the back of the saddle bounces and comes up to hit your bum? if so, this saddle does not, and will not fit. Sideways movement is also wrong and I have never heard such crap as the skin moving making the sadle move.
