.... But my boys feet still can't handle pointy stones (gravel, shingle and concrete no problem) so I'm going to try hoof boots as my last resort before shoeing him.
He's already restricted on grass, has soaked weighed hay and on prohoof with chaff & fast fibre. Vet said his condition was spot on 2.5-3 so I think the hoof boot is my last stop before going for shoes
Can anyone recommend a hoof boot for a first timer that's easy to put on and for feet slightly longer than they are wide. We hack once a week for about 1.5hours. Also where is the best place to get them from?
