But i work on a livery yard and in the summer horses might be out 24/7, what are the chances that all 8 will be out do you reckon?
If likely then surely i won't be working all day as will have no stables to muck out?

I know it is a daft one but just can't think and hoping i won't have to find another job to supplement in the summer!

At our old yard in Ireland, summertime was property maintenance time! Staff had loads to to painting doors, liming stables etc etc. Ask, you might be pleasantly surprised!

De-pooing the paddocks. Washing horses/rugs, cleaning tack.........................painting jumps

Right i get the idea, might be some grooming or riding depends what the clients want too.
Was just hoping that i don't end up with a part time job for a few mpnths!

You should have been told when you took on the job whether it was seasonal or not. Many hunter grooms find other work over the summer as a norm.
