I've managed to squeeze a place in at our RC dressage this Sunday

It's the last indoor of the season and although our canter is still rather huge for a 20x40 I wanted to have a go in the lovely indoor they use before next winter

Bear in mind I've only done one indoor test on G and in that he reared and I landed on my back!!

It was almost 2 years ago and in a MUCH scarier indoor with cafe/spectators etc but still...

I just realised that it's the same test prelim 7 too!!

The RC have been really nice though and let me have first test, and so I'm going to warn the judge that depending on how things go I may not canter (don't want to send boards pinging left right and centre if I can help it!!)

To be honest, that's my only real plan this time

Last time I know I took it far to seriously (personality defect!

) and probably made the whole thing feel horrid for him!

I just plan to ride him forward, relax and not get in a twist about his shape

If we can have a nice relaxed canter I'll be happy

How big is you boy? He looks big in your sig!

I've just started doing some unaff dressage - I just try and relax and and if it starts going pear shaped, just think to myself that there is always another day! Good luck again!

He's 17.1hh but VERY wide so not exactly your usual dressage pony!

He's very sweet though and so I just want to give him a nice experience really. Can't be worse than last time so the only way is up!! (but I hope that's not literally again!!!

)

Good Luck CS !!! I'm going to RC dressage on Sunday too and the last time I took my girl into that indoor school, she reared and then bucked me off !! (t'was all a bit too much for her) You are not alone ! Let's compare notes on Sunday night !!
