So my gelding has digital pulses in all four legs. We trialled him off the grass for a number of days and on soaked hay and they reduced. Not lame or footy. Not fat or cresty. Doesn't wear shoes and is trimmed every 6-8 weeks as he grows a huge amount of foot!
Currently he is on soaked hay during the day. He comes in at 7 am and goes out at 7pm in the field. He has two bucket feeds of fast fibre, speedibeet, laminator, brewers yeast, heavy magnesium, cinnamon, salt and micro linseed.
He has had a blood test for EMS which came back in the right in the middle of the normal range. He wasn't fasted before this test so the vet has said that if it continues for the next fortnight then to pop him back in for a retest after being fasted for 6 hours.
Has anyone else come across this? Running out of ideas now. He is well in himself, competes every weekend not lethargic or anything.
