Does BBC have to be on digital cos mine isn't. I caught the catch up red button on channel 301 but couldn't find real time red button anywhere. Any thoughts anyone ?

mine only seems to work from BBC2, and takes quite a while to respond after touching red button, that might help a little!

If I take the subtitles off, I get the red button symbol appear in the top of the screen and can access it from there. That said, we seem to have recently lost red button access from the box in our bedroom (living room one works though).
However a lot of the red button cover is only for sky etc. and not freeview (which is what I have) ie the puissance on friday was live red button for sky but catch up only on freeview. if they are showing it live, it should appear still on channel 301 I think (well it used to!). Olympia tonight is scheduled to be live on freeview though (well according to my epg).

When ever I press the red button on my remote the TV just goes off!
I think the BBC needs to think again about this service!
