I know we needed some rain. But enough now, for a while at least, it has been relentless here for the last few days, fields are sodden, our horses are due to get their 24/7 turnout next week, can't see that happening if this carries on. ((;

Mine went out 24/7 when the clocks went back - had to bring in tonight as they were thoroughly fed up and their field resembled a padi field!

Bet Anglia will cancel the order from Severn Trent now! What a shame - the management will have to do without the goodies they were going to buy with the money. :D

Think we've had enough for now too! Been heavy rain here all day! And just looked at the forecast and the weather isn't set to improve much before the second week of May! :eek: All of the horses are back in again and it feels very much like winter again with lots of mucking out!! :mad: :p

We dont need any more in s wales, we have plenty. The fields have returned to mud and are sodden, Cant turn on to summer grazing yet, as the fields are now too wet! We will happily pass the rain on to the areas that need it. We dont need any more rain!

I only asked for a light trickle. Sorry, must have been my mad arm waving that did it.
Anyway, still not able to try out new saddle as would have slid clean off the darn thing in the deluge today. Plus horsey no good as he has his eyes clenched shut with anything stronger than a fine drizzle. He's such a princess.

You know what they say 'Be careful what you wish for' . Now the whole nations wished for rain what hope do we have ? :rolleyes:
