So how did you all get on that went ?

I had a great time, I set off behind about 15 people but gradually passed all of them througout the ride and was first one back, it wasn't a race but did show how fast his lordship went round, only dissapointment was how many riders didn't wear any hi viz gear, I had 3 riders in front on a country lane and 5 behind me, I was the only one out of all of us on the road with any viz on

crazy or what

Madness! We wear Hi-viz all the time, very important at the moment as otherwise we might get shot by the gangs of Elmer Fudds shooting any moving creature to smithereens in the forest.

Glad you had a good day!

I wondered where all the trailers were coming from that we met on the way home from a w/e near Bakewell!

I personally do think though that on a ride of that sort which should be marshalled well, then hi-viz should not be necessary unless it is foggy of course; after all, most of the time you should be on private land with very little roadwork and drivers should have been made aware by stewards and signs that groups of riders are liable to be there; that's certainly the case with our rides around here. FTR, I do wear hi-viz when on roadwork!

I had a fantastic time. Set off in a group with 6 others (I was only 1 wearing hi-viz) Merry so well behaved - it was first time I had ridden her in company of more than one other. Quite happy at back of group. I was so pleased with her I couldn't stop grinning all way home.
Do you happen to know who photographer was?
