old BE records ?

some of us remember that far back... ;) ;)
if you don't want to put her name on the forum, pm me and i'll tell you what i remember, if anything.
otherwise it's rather sketchy tbh. some of the big events have results going back quite far but the smaller ones don't. there are old videos around of three days back in the day, i think British Pathe News is one site that hosts them, there have been links to it on here before.
 
Have you looked on BDWP? Also, look up the horse's name. If you look up the horse I had in the 90s, she appears with me as her rider - yet look me up, and I apparently only appear from 2006 onwards!
 
BE's records go back farther than bdwp's, by a long way. i've just found records for me on my first horse in 1989, but nothing further back... it is a bit glitchy though, you have to search for horse name and rider name separately and sometimes 1 comes up further back than the other, oddly, e.g. a search under my name only goes back to 1999.
if you know the name of a horse who was competing back then at say 4* level and you search their name, then click on one of the big events they did, you can get to that page which doesn't come up under the event's name... another glitch. e.g. if you search for Jaybee and then click on Bicton 1998, you get this page

which is all the results at all levels for that year... so, with a bit of patience and delving, if you know what events she did, you might be able to find something! but BE is definitely a better bet than bdwp for this.
