Old clip showing through new clip!!!!

I ended up having to clip Fabio in July as he was boiling working in the heat with his summer coat which was thicker than usual due to the horrible spring we had! As OH had not long got a new horse, they had been play fighting a fair bit in the paddock and as a result Fab did have a fair few scabs on his behind so decided to just blanket clip him so as not to pull all the scabs off.

Today - have fully clipped him but the sun must have bleached the shorter hair from his blanket clip so although he's fully clipped, he still looks like he's got a blanket clip!! Has anyone had this happen to them? If so how long before it went back to normal?? Its not a huge deal as he'll be fully clipped from now on throughout the winter anyway!! Just curious!

oh dear! it took me a while to see it though so its not that obvious!after a few days i doubt you'll notice! always remember the say - the difference between a good clip and a bad clip is a couple of days/weeks (cant remember)! :L

Good job i'd made sure my lines were straight when doing the blanket clip!! lol

Also - i'm using the links for forums off Photobucket that usually puts the pics on the thread rather than having to click on them to view, is it a new setting on here since the forum upgrade why this isn't working or a new way i'm not aware of?? If anyone can let me know that also will be grateful!
