Old copies of Horse and Hound?

Could anyone help me on my hunt for old copies of Horse and Hound, from around 1950 - 2004 ?

I am going into my third year at Cambridge, and writing a dissertation on fox hunting in Britain - and I need sources!

If anyone has an old stack sat around that they would like to offload for good, or just lend for a couple of weeks (I promise they will be returned in mint condition) - OR even be able to scan and email over - it would be very very much appreciated! Having contacted Horse and Hound, they don't have their own archive available to use, and although hunting some down in various libraries is a possibility I think horsey poeple are probably better collectors than any libraries out there!

I did my dissertation in 2007 on fox hunting and specifically the Burns inquiry, but I have a feeling I no longer have the resources I used. I will have a look for you though.

Unfortunately I live several hours from university, you cant take such documents out on loan and I work full time - so commuting for a day at the library is really out of the question! Thats why im looking for some to work on at home, as it needs to be done during summer. Also fairly sure only the British library rather than our UL has H&H

Try somewhere like E-bay??

Or do a tour of "old-fashioned" country solicitors offices, dentists surgeries etc, and see what you unearth!! - that's all I can suggest!
