I'm not sure if you mean what I think you mean? You can get what I would think of as a good old fashioned cotton sheet from most places (I like ruggles - but they fit my horse.). But do you mean something else? I wouldn't have thought of them as hard to find. I'm thinking of the ones a bit like sail canvas? Tight woven heavy grade cotton?

For a proper thick quality summer sheet look at Ruggles Rugs, I've bought one and extremely impressed. Not a flimsy summer sheet but a substantial proper sheet.

Agree, I have 2, good and thick cotton drill, with a lovely long tail flap. Only downside, I sent one of mine to be cleaned as it needed a tear mending. It must have been 'boil' washed as it came back slightly shrunk!
