Hiya

Does anyone have a pair of size 4 Old Mac G2s for sale? Just gone barefoot on back and my TB is struggling so can't hack out. Don't want new ones cos his feet will change dramatically in next few months.

Thanks

No, sadly. Sorry.

But do have a brand spanking new pair in size 2 here. :( Complete with gaiters. I bought them from The Saddlery Shop online last summer for my filly, but in the end didn't need them as she was shod with metal shoes instead. Thought I'd try one on her on this Tuesday...... Huh... now I need a pair of size 4's.

And the price of them!!! What a waste of my money last summer. OH was eying them only last night enquiring all-too-quietly, "And how much did they cost?" Gulp. If he asks.... £30 each!! - and to think he though that was bad enough!!!!

I'd DEFINITELY suggest finding A second hand PAIR if your chap's feet are going to change. I speak from experience!!! Keep looking on eBay... I'm sure some will be listed sooner or later. I've bought a second hand pair of Easyboot Epics on eBay this week. Expecting delivery today in fact. Just hope they fit.   :D

Thanks for the message, hope your new ones fit. I was told wrong size for front pair and had to spend even more money sending them back and getting correct size sent. Think I may have to bite bullet, cos cannot go hacking at all, think he is getting fed up with all the schooling! Was slightly lame on Friday, think he was putting it on so I wouldn'e work him, cheeky monkey.

Cheers for the chat :)

Grrrr.... Tell me about it!

Tried on the size 3 Easyboot Epics (bought second hand on eBay) this morning - wide enough but too long. I've fitted the boot with a smaller Easyup buckle so it's nicely fitting in the front, but the rear heal strap doesn't touch the back of her foot at the sides.
I could pull the size 3 boot off the back of her foot way too easily.

Mine's a 16.2 WBxTB 3 year old and I cannot imagine she'll fit into her mother's old size 2's! (Her dam was a dainty 15 hand TB). Size 2's are 'large pony' size and mine's far from being a pony surely! Her foot width is 14.5cm one side and 15cm the other, and both fronts are 14cm long from bar to toe (and her toes are a tad long ATM). As far as the Easyboot sizing chart is concerned, she should definitelly fit into the size 3's. :(

I might try fitting a rear strap from the old size 2's I've got onto the size 3's and seeing if that helps the fit at the back, but TBH I am getting really fed up faffing about trying to get boots to fit. I've got a brand new pair of size 4, a used pair of size 3 and two pairs of used size 2 Easyboots here, and one brand new pair of unused Old Macs - and none fit!:confused::cool::(

Sure hope you have better luck finding some that fit! ;)
