Old magazines

For the last couple years OH has given me old mags.Old Riding mags and Horse and Hound.I find them amazing a real window into the past some go back to the 30's,best of all there are old books advertised and some are still around have just got two delivered one by Sommerville and Ross and the other is called Sudden Death of the MFH. Dying to get in and read them.

When you've finished reading them, don't whatever you do chuck them away or put them out for the re-cycling! Some of us on here would no doubt be prepared to give silly money for them!!

Or there's e-bay............

How fabulous to have old magazines

I have a few 1970s Stable Management mags - one even featuring the sire of an old horse of mine!

I love old horse books - have you found the Webster Family on-line library?

PS an old horse book with a title to make you laugh. Hubby thinks it should not exist or at least have a disclaimer that it's fantasy 'cos it can't possibly be true - but it's on our bookshelf for the title alone

More on the fiction side, but there's a new ebook publisher been set up that's going to re-publish old, out-of-print pony books and I can't wait!
