Old scars

I have an older thoroughbred who has a few scars that seem dry out through summer and look sore as he’s got older, can anyone recommend anything any cream etc to soothe this? Thanks

Summer fly cream will soften them right up and atop them looking sore ?

Wonder gel gold label literally put it on everything and it seems to sooth and helps hair regrowth, it's also one thing that one of my Arab's is not allergic to it also stops him rubbing his tail if I put it on every day.

I have been putting Filtabac cream on mine to give protection from the sun as well as moisturizing the scar.

I have found massaging the scar with something seems to make as much difference as anything; but have recently had surprising success with camrosa. Completely softened and flattened a big hard scar and taken the 'flakiness' away from a couple of others - and the improvement seems to last, whereas with sudocrem/flycream/bio-oil/vaseline it seems to revert very quickly. (Yes, I have a lot of experience in this area... )
