Hi guys,
hope someone can shed light to this for me. I have a beautiful sella francais cross mare (homebred and unfortunately unregistered - long story) which is in foal to an Oldenburg stallion (with excellent dressage lines). Will I be able to register the foal with the society? I am getting mixed answers and wonder if anybody knows for sure. The foal is for me to compete and although I am not really that worried about whether it is registered or not, if I could register it, I would like to.

I have been on the Oldenburg Ass. website, but it is not really that informative or well put together. :-S

Any clarification would be hugely appreciated on the registration or grading etc.

Thank you very much in advance! :-)

The best person to speak to is Lois Allard of Coady Bay Stud, she is the UK representative for the Oldenburg society and is always very helpful. Hope that helps.

I did it - was a pain though !! they come over in autumn and assess them and also register the mare into the stud book !!

as someone said louis alard is a good person to talk to !! it is expensive though x
