Not slacking multitasking
Hi all,
asking on behalf of a friend and her collie as I got to see her one of her odd turns for the first time yesterday, she will be taking a trip to the vets but as it is so intermittent and doesn't last very long I thought I would ask you lovely lot too!
Dog in question is (guesses!) 11/12, is arthritic she trots along fine out walking but does always look stiff when getting up after having been laid down, is on metacam and a joint supp.
Yesterday she was up and moving about when she went to tell younger dog off and seemed to loose control of her back end, tail goes right under and ended up wobbling into the sofa, then she panics a bit and if you let her would thrash her front end around trying to get up. If you sit her down and hold her still she shakes and then after a couple of minutes if that she got up and was fine again, trotted out to the garden etc.
Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
