On Saturday and today, I noticed that Motor spent a penny, but did not bother to stretch out and just stood normally and happily 'went'.

He is as happy as larry at them moment, very interested in life, food, excerise and cuddles

.... so what is this all about

I half wondered if he is a bit stiffer behind (no puns here please

) but he is not even stretching his front legs out either

Any ideas, or do you think he has just gone a bit cranky(er)

Don't get me started on "older" (entire) husbands and changing toilet habits as they age!!! I expect your ned's just a bit creaky and he's discovered, HEY! you can STILL have a pee even without all that "assume the posture" stuff. I'd look the other way if it offends you E! Or you can borrow my husband for a weekend - it would help you appreciate your thoughtful and innovative gelding lol xxx

Oh and yes, can I borrow your husband? .... is he handy around the yard, as that is all I would want/need him for

Oh no ofcourseyoucan Motor does get his willy out at least atm, so I hope that is not the next stage of his 'ageing' process

Box of frogs, you just made me laugh out loud at work. Thanks.

My 2 year old hardly ever assumes the position for peeing, he's too lazy. I think he'll be a nightmare to do anything with when the time comes, as bone lazy doesnt even begin to describe him. I reckon if he could get me to pee for him, he would. Men, eh

Stinky does this sometimes and he is young. Often if he is too busy eating, he just hangs it out and goes with his head down - one day he is going to pee on his nose I am sure.

Cairo who was very fussy always was very careful peeing even when old and stiff. I think Stinky is just a bit of a slob at times.

Farra who is a slobbet often does not stand carefully when having a pee and gets it all down her legs and tail - Cairo would be ashamed to share the clydesdale name with her

Only time I worry if it is spraying in all directions as Stinky gets beans and has done from two, hence I normally pop anything out every other month before it gets large. I am so lucky he likes having his todger handled and stands very happily whilst I clean and poke round.
