I have had the vet out today to my cushings pony. SHe was very pleased with the weight loss all though i now have to maintain and not lose anymore. My pony is still a little stiff in the hind which she is sure is not because of the laminitis she had a few months ago, she thinks she is stiff more from her older age and has put her on half a bute a day for a while. Is there any supplement I can give her which will help I had been thinking of devils claw? Also she has lots of melanomas around her back end which dont cause her any problems going to the toliet but when the vet touched them she was a little uncomfortable and so this may be causing her discomfort but we dont want to go down the chemo line at her age and if they got bad enough or caused her lots of pain then I would rather let her go.
