can you feed olive oil the same as you feed other oils to horses?

I used to give mine a few good glugs of vegetable oil (olive oil is very expensive!). great for slow release energy, a glossy coat and, I think, joints?

No you cant, Im sure, if you delve deeply enough into the archives on here you will find a thread about oils. It will be at least 12 months old though. Try searching for posts made by Lisab30....she was our nutrition guru!!

i didnt think you could - i had no facts to justify but i just thought olive oil would be posiness becuase of olives?

oh i am not sure but i know grapes can be and i know olives are to dogs so i was just thinking along the same lines- check google

i have never heard of it
i use corn oil which you can get from anywere which helps a healthy shiny coat
