Charmy's been off for a while but with full approval from my vet I did a last minute entry for this comp as it's only down the road from me. Charm's not great indoors so wasn't expecting much. Walked the course and everyone was in shock at the corner fence

it was a bit narrow with no wings. As it was fence 12 I was more concerned about getting that far, getting into ring etc etc!!
Sat and watched juniors and everyone got eliminated at that fence so no prizes given out (about 12 in class) Moved on to seniors.
I was last to go in seniors and by then a few had jumped it. Got into the ring no napping

, set off over first fence

good start. Got as far as fence 11 a plastic brush and she had to check it out. Jumped 2nd time of asking. Onto corner one stop then jumped 2nd time of asking

crowd started clapping Charm took off, and then thought she'd finished so ground to halt at green roll thing. Big fat E but fairly pleased.
2nd class had a silly stop at a sj for some reason. Jumped rest clear although a bit wavey to corner

. Finished with lots of time as we went slow but ended up coming 6th

Good day out which I enjoyed. My friend took a video so if she can email it to me I'll post it up so if anyone is going to another round they can look at the fences to practise

we went to one a couple of weeks ago, we were not impressed that someone who had a pole down could beat someone who actually went clear, its the way its marked, in that faults for time and jumping faults are treated as the same...

hi yes I was. Managed to time it well though as I got there just in time for the course walk for my class. Well done you though

totally agree scoring was a bit unfair as if there were loads of people completing the course it would encourage you to go fast and flat. As the corner was so influential it didn't make a great deal.
Did loads of people get eliminated when you went? I thought it was a bit mean putting the corner in for the juniors, seniors I agree as we tend to see them about anyway.
