Am going on Wed and although I live in the SE the weather is supposed to be pants and i'm not sure how to go.

Trains are notorious for not running at the drop of a hat and I really don't want to be sleeping on victoria concourse or in the train overnight.

Driving - I hate it in snowy / icy conditions and its long way so something could go wrong or delays.

Am going out the day after and need to get home that night.

Whats everyone else doing ?

Havnt seen weather forcast, but we are going thursday during the day and we are driving to westfield shopping centre to park and get a taxi from there.

The traffic around Olympia is awful at any time of year and near Christmas is even worse! I guess it depends on which direction you are coming from but parking at Westfield and getting a taxi sounds like a good idea. West London roads rarely get that bad but busses do have a habit of stopping running at the slightest hint of snow! There are a couple of NCP car parks near there and you can book some parking on site, last time I went I managed to get on street parking but before that I went in the NCP which I seem to remember as being very expensive!

We too are going Wednesday and as yet cannot decide - Not sure where to park if we do drive..... Assuming even if we get there early enough Olympia parking will be full..... I think we will end up driving as opposed to train.

If I drove it would be to North London as i'm meeting a friend but as I come from Hants its a long way to travel if weather really bad.

Still am undecided.

If you live near Watford or anywhere along that line (no idea what company that is!) it's worth getting the train as that line pulls up just outside the hall - it's perfect! You just walk out of the station platform, cross the road and into the entrance.

Woo hoo, am going on Saturday (only reason i'll be back in the UK...oh apart from seeing the family of course) will be getting the train since I want to take advantage of the champagne bar to the max and to hell with what the weather is up to.

I'm travelling in from the Canterbury direction, as long as I get there I am happy.

I'm going Friday and Monday! Can't wait. I'm going to train it both days so can have a drink. Weather is just supposed to be cold with no snow etc but I live in Surrey so it's not too bad if we get stuck at a station as my OH can come and rescue us if necessary! Friday is for me and friends and Monday is to take clients out!!! Free day Monday with drinks and food but haven't quiet managed to get a shopping allowance yet!
