Who's going??

Managed to get front row seats in the centre block for Saturday and Sunday and reservations made for lunch and evening meal in the members restaurant on both days!!

Its the first time we've ever managed to get such good tickets and the restaurant all booked so I am in the good books!

Very excited now! It will be our little ones first time at the show which will be fun!

You'll love it!! The atmosphere is great, especially when the brits do well!! love going for the two days as you can nip out of the front door and shop on the high street when youve exhausted the shopping inside :)

I have just been and booked mine as well. This is my first time going to Olympia despite begging to be woken for the puissance when I was 3 (I'm now 35). I remember being carried downstairs but after that apparently I passed out again! Definitely going to do better this year.

The trip is a treat from my OH as I managed to give up chocolate, which I never thought I'd do. He didn't think I'd be able to either, but there's nothing like being given a choice between Olympia and a pushbike show at the NEC to focus one's mind!

VERY excited. I've got seats in row B on Saturday afternoon to watch the big jumps!

Does your OH realize that whilst at Olympia, consumption of said chocolate and wine will recommence, probably inducing a Choc/Wine coma, meaning you will probably miss the afternoon performance again ;-)

I am just going to keep everything crossed that Carl H/Charlotte D will be in the freestyle dressage! Congrats SadKen for giving up chocolate! But yes I would have done the same if I had had to choose between Olympia and a pushbike show!!!!

Aha! But the chocolate ban ends on 4th July, my sister's wedding date! So 5th July is CHOCOLATE BINGE DAY, and I will be perfectly OK to consume what I like thereafter. Although I think I'll probably take it or leave it in future, rather than being its slave ;)

I've been on hold for the box office for ages, hopefully get through soon. Very pleased that we managed to get the last available room at the Hand and Flower for Wednesday night.

Now got through and got really great seats for the Kur block 14 Row C, block 15 was already booked up to Row M and Thursday Block 15, Row C

Well done for getting those seats nag, I should have booked mine first thing to get the better seats for the Kur but I am pleased with what we've got.

Row C will be fine. We were in row C and D a few years ago, and it was just as good - lets be honest your only 1m further away from the action, and nobody wears huge hats anyway ;-)

We always eat in the Members Restaurant and it's really nice. I can't remember what the menu was last year but we all enjoyed our meals. It's almost next to a viewing area so you can pop out to watch what's going on in the ring.

Cool thanks, does it get really busy? We've booked early lunch (11:30am) and tea to suit the afternoon performance, so will have to train little one to eat quickly :)

I'm sure if you are going at the weekend it will be full, we go on the Thursday and it isn't always full but then lunch is spread out over a few hours so I'm not sure how they manage bookings

Thanks sue, much appreciated. With any luck it wont take too long when ordering food (they are only open an hour before afternoon performance starts)
