there is a facility to turn off the commentary but it also turns off the music which rather defeats the object. it was great last year as i watched all of the freestyle without commentary and it was great. bbc seem to have messed up this year!!!unless its just my red button...

You can get commentary free on bbc website livestream by the look of it.

after trying a few more times i have now got music without commentary, HOORAY!!!!!

Blue button, choose no commentary.

I can't seem to get bbc red button to work, do you have to be on a particular bbc channel to use it? I've just got freeview.

It is on 601 for me. Some areas it is 301 I think

Oh he was wonderful! Looked like he was off for an amble around the woods to pop a few logs. I was cheering so loudly for him, my neighbours must think I'm quite bonkers.

Hi,,I couldn't get mine to work cause I was pressing the wrong buttons,try 601 channel.It works for me and I only have freeview.Good luck.x
