If anyone has H&C TV they are showing the bits BBC aren't.

I've just watched the Extreme Driving with a glass of Prosecco whilst waiting for my dinner to cook.

I'm rather glad OH is out tonight now!

Refreshing to see no gadgets and plain tack.

I'm watching on laptop as self isolating?.
Oh no, I hope you feel better soon!

I couldn’t quite see what bit the tack-lite rider was using but the horse definitely wasn’t happy in his mouth :/.

And it’s interesting to see a rider wearing an air jacket! I spent far too long squinting at the screen trying to figure out if it was just a really ugly custom SJ jacket ?.

I’ve seen a couple now with the saddle pad underneath way shorter than the sheepskin and saddle. It looks so uncomfortable. That said it’s not stopping them and I can only admire anyone brave enough.

@DirectorFury I did notice it was uncomfortable though. I wonder it's tricky customer?

(Thanks covid finally got me?)
(Boo to covid :( )

After a quick insta stalk I can see that that horse usually jumps in a grackle and doesn’t look as uncomfortable as it does today. I wonder if he bashed his face/nose travelling over and that’s why they’re trying without a noseband? The horse doesn’t usually wear a martingale or breastplate.

I’ve also solved the weird bit mystery - the smaller second ring is actually how his reins attach - there’s a ring to loop the rein back on itself rather than a buckle or billet.
