I am off there tomorrow...prob all the bargains will have gone but interested to hear what other visitors have bought & which stalls you recommend! Thanks all!

I went on saturday, and did nnot see any baggains as such. There was very nice stuff but at full price. So I was not tempted to buy as at full price I would prefer to shop when I did not have to carry home on train, and had time to give thought to purchases. We had a great day and enjoyed the show very much- it was really special.

Thanks teasle....may be hope for my finances yet then! I remember last year going completely ott in a musto stand!

I bought....
fluffy headband,
winter gloves,
dubarrys
fleece rug,
polypad,
bit butter,
main and tail spray,
massage maching thingy (xmas presnet)
2x dog rugs (presents)
socks (present)
make up bag (present)
magnetic stud tray

and basically loads more junk :)

I'm off tomorrow :) really looking forward to it. Its been years since I've been to a major show and not been stuck on a trade stand :D So, am looking forward to actually seeing horses.... and shopping ;) . So any tips as to which stands have the best bargains?

I got a red body warmer for a tenner, a Kingsland jacket which was £150 down to £80 (bought as an early xmas prezzie for me yay!) and a Horsewear red barbour style jacket for £25...yay! Lots of Kingsland stuff is reduced but they dont make it clear as it is mixed in with all the full price stuff so have a really good rummage...they got so fed up with us in the end they gave us some free hats to get rid of us so they could close  oh and my sister got me a fluffy headband and a kingsland headband but theyre xmas presents Im not meant to know about oops ;)

Aw i needed a magnetic stud tray, and never seen one .... Scunnered:(

Premier Equine had a great deal on their Bustino 450g Heavyweight. £85 down from £120.
I got myself one and my firend ordered hers as they were out of stock but if you pay on the day etc.
i bought a lovely Musto rain coat for myself half price down to £50
I stopped there as my poor credit card was getting twitchy at the thought of more use
;-)

Bought 2 thermatex rugs 1 for £35, other for £40!
Premier Equine 450g turnout for £85
Had 40% off supplements at feedmark so stocked up
A headband/ear warmer
Ordered my De Niro boots and had a really lovely free jumper worth £60
Gloves
Tagg breaches for £29
Could of spent aload more too.....

I purchased some Tagg Breeches for £29, some socks.....there are loads of socks there this year! Oh and some new brushes....
I was actually a little disappointed wiht the shopping this year, although it was vast and you get lost as usual....a lot of it was very samey and not many bargains.
Show was brilliant though, thoroughly enjoyed it :)

I haven't been noticing any Bargains both at Olympia and at Hickstead this year. Maybe I'm just tight, but all I bought was a Body Protector.
(Which I tried on 2 years ago and didn't buy.. have been thinking about it ever since.) So.. yes I probably am tight.

Used to spend loads and come back with all sorts of rubbish when I was younger, but I still enjoy having a look around the stalls :D

Bodywarmer was from a stall downstairs, wasnt a horsey shop really just selling clothes which looked a bit cheap and shite but then I spotted this beautiful little bodywarmer in the corner and the rest is history :p It was towards the back in line with a set of stairs taking you upstairs?

I got:
A fluffy numnah
Pink flourescent leg bands
Olympia hoody
A pair of Rebel Rider jodhs
Pair of riding socks
A coat for the dog
Loads of cheap magazines
Black and silver browband with diamantes (to match the numnah)

Spent way too much but it was good, cant wait to get home now and try the stuff on her hehe :)

"I do my own stunts" hoody
Pony magazine goody bag
Some treats for Ned
A "I luv u" rosette for the dog and Ned (Even though I would have prefer "I love you" but that's just me!)

Went last night and bought

Falpro turnout for £49 should be minimum of 90 but seen them advertised for 159
Kingsland Jacket 135 down from 150
Kingland Cooltex Pro Jacket 60 down from 125
Premier Equine Boots 39 down from 52

And must really praise the Horse Trust - kept all the shopping for £1.00

Mind you did give them all our loose change as thought £1 was way too cheap

Brilliant show

I didn't see any bargains. I got measured up for a new jacket (:D, I'm an odd shape :o :() and nearly died when she gave me the price!! NOT what was said on the website
