Olympic dressage coach banned from driving

Daily Mail seem to have thought she was coach for the pure dressage not for eventing.....

Expensive ban for someone who earns their living through teaching hence a lot of travel

Interesting point. So the police went to her house and she admitted she had been drinking. Not looking at the wrongs or rights but interesting she did that as she could have claimed she had had drink when she got home.

And I am not going to judge. We don't know the whole story and I am sure (having never met the lady in question) she is also very sorry and knows it put other peoples lives at risk.

Not so, by spacing the tests, then the time scale can be predicted, and a prosecution will almost certainly follow. I'm not too sure how it works, but I do know that bolting booze when you arrive home is no longer the answer.

Like you, I don't judge, but it's such a shame.

Alec.

Its not a new law.
Thirty years ago my friends two sons and a daughter were killed by a drunk driver. The dd was also killed in the accident.
I have never ever driven under the influence and have taken keys off people to stop them soing so.
My beautifull brave and kind friend has lived her life with only one of her four children surviving whilst keeping her sanity humour and good nature, and is the reason that i won t touch the stuff if i ve got to drive.
There is no excuse.

Why oh why do people do it.
It could have been much much worse she could have harmed someone.
She's very very lucky
