Olympic Horse Still For Sale?

Poor boy,as far as i can tell hes been through a fair few dealers in recent weeks. Cant understand how his previous owner can have let this happen..

Poor boy to end up with that dealer :( there are a few around here that he'll move between if he doesn't sell.

Exactly. Wondering if he was still for £950, as unlikely, but possible he could retire with us, as a light hack for my mum!

on the dealers page it says they want £1750 with no offers :( how i wish i had a spare stable! have more than enough to buy him, just not enough room :(

how about you buy him and send him up here! lololoL!

haha! i even have a use for him....looking to take my bhs stages 2/3/4 and need a reliable school master....dont think you could get more reliable than him :) ....... if i could just have a stable in the garden........*just keep dreaming*

Absolutely..., why not build one? i don't see any issues there at all!

need some more grass..... and its not my lawn! its my parents
although we have discussed bringing one of the others home whose not happy on livery! they could keep each other company :)

I think his previous owners should be pretty disgusted with themselves because am disgusted with them and if they are on here i will gladly tell them (and to there face btw!)

I think ive found the 'new' dealers advert for him marked up obviously

If I do end up getting him, I shall update you all with photos :)
The only problem is, price keeps changing and I can't keep track of who he actually is with. Asked Mid Kent Horses, hope they do get back to me.

What I had seen on another post the horse was sold to another dearler and his price has been doubled and his is now 13 years of age instead of 19

I think prev owners were dearler, Hope he finds a nice home

The advert is still there - http://www.horsemart.co.uk/all_rounder_horse_13_yrs_16_1_hh_liver_chestnut_ke/Horses/267449

And yes, he's still on Mid Kent's page https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Mid-Kent-Horses/311094888934025?fref=ts

I think this horse is well known now and that he IS 18, plenty of pics out there, so there shouldn't be any discrepancies over his age ;) Shame that he has ended up in the dealer chain though, let's hope he can find a final home that will treat him with the respect he deserves.

Sadly he is not going between dealer, he is probably going between the same family that runs 3/4 different dealerships, all under different names and being taken to court. Hope he finds a home soon. If we can compete at the Olympics he can find a lovely home for someone.

So glad he is in a nice home. Sad that a horse that did so much ended up with dealers especially the god awful one in Peterborough.

i didn't want to start a new thread but out of curiosity is the Peterborough one affiliated in anyway with the Kent dealers?

I don't know the ins and outs and the who's who' but thought most dealers worked together in some way or other, particularly with the more difficult horses to sell. I know iv come across a few down here who have let slip that a horse has come from another dealer in the region.

It's the pic that was on many of the dealers sites, it's how I recognised him. It's a Facebook group called mad about horses. I was hoping to see a current one but its the Olympic pic of him going over a fence. He's only 5 mins up the road, so very tempted to have a nose, but no one likes a time waster or joy rider do they ;)
