Well, saddle fitter has just been again. Tacked him up in his box (for the first time since the McTimoney saw him which was just under 2 weeks ago) and he wasn't best impressed
Leadhim out and she agreed that it wasn't sitting the same and it was stting higher (she also commented that he'd gotten fatter since she last came
). She said to completely forget about the presteige becaue I'd lost confidence in it. She go out some albions and had me riding around in 3 different types with fibregee in front because they were all a touch wide. I popped him over some jumps and almost birst int tears about 3 times because I'm just so disheartened after all of this, I just want the horse I had last spring back!
I chose one I liked, he was all measured up and in 6-10 wees time I should have a new Albion (eithera kontact on a K2, whichever one doesn't have calf blocks).
So, once I have the all clear from the McTimoney to start working him he'll be hopefully be worked in the Pessoa (now that it's fixed) for a week or two and then he'll go off for a quick holiday (2-3 weeks) the back to college and more pessoa work an when the saddle comes.... some serious work! (providing al goes to plan!)
Hopefully now things will start going back normal
