That was scary to watch!!! The police acted very calmly, I thought the biker was racing ahead to stop traffic at junctions then slowing down to try to slow the horse down. Did the woman in the car manage to stop it then, I couldn't quite see? I thought she had its reins and then I thought it got away again.

Remember seeing that on the telly when it happened! Scary stuff, IIRC the horse's name is Garibaldi and he was fine after his antics... I often think about him and wonder how he is now, because my lad is the spitting image of him!

she must've caught it, slowed it down, then got out of the car. One very lucky horse, tho I dread to think what his legs are like now. Or what happened to the rider 
I agree, hi vis is just sooooooo important isn't it. Funny, I've just started using my neon exercise sheet again two days ago, thought I might as well seeing as everything else is neon anyway ; but on ME, nowt was on the PONY.

A french horse, they all drive like that! But seriously well done to les gendarmes. And the guy on the bike who seemed to be trying to clear the way. I am pleased to see that even french runaway horses wear High viv, please take note everyone!
