Well yesterday Freckles and I modelled for FallenLight Photography. Gail and Neil were brilliant and come very highly recommended from me! I HATE being photographed but I cant say that there are any that make me want to stab myself!!

Problem is... I now need to narrow down the shots to about 10 of the best if you have 5 mins maybe you could help.

My particular favourite so far is -

The whole album is here -

The ones I love are - 0014, 0053, 0057, 0059, 0075, 0089, 0107, 0115, 0116, 0117, 0123, 0125

They are all really lovely pictures. I'm afraid I couldn't pick a favourite although one on the first page where you have your hand on Freckles' neck and he is turning his head to you is lovely.

The one you pick as your favourite, I'm afraid I don't actually like. You cannot see one of Freckles' eyes and it makes his face look odd - sorry, just my twopenneth!

I hope you manage to pick some good ones to keep. Was this for a special occasion?

They are all beautiful, difficult choice. Absolutely love your horse, he's so photogenic. The ones where he's smelling your wedding dress made me laugh. Think the ridden one ending in 35 ? is very nice, as are the ones of you two walking down the lane. The ones of you laughing beside him in your brown dress are wonderful.
Actually, I couldn't choose, I'd have them all.

I KNOW!! I want them all! This shoot is a new project for the company called 'Re-work the Dress' so I was the test pilot ;) Gail has said I can choose 8 to have as electronic images as a thank you for helping them. She was the best photographer I have ever worked with. And so happy with all of the shots :) Boxers - thanks for your honesty will have another lookie :D

I think, very clever touch ups from Gail! He is a really foamy mouthed horse and after a few treats he was throw green flobber all over me :D You cant appreciate in the shots but I am very Essex tanned and the green slime up my arms made me look like an extra for Charlie and the Chocolate factory!!

Have had another look and I like 38 as well.

Just one point to the photographer which may be worth feeding back if you feel you can, but I don't think sitting astride a horse in a dress is terribly elegant :o If they could get the bride sitting to the side I would think the picture would look far more ladylike, although perhaps a lot less practical as with all those underskirts I imagine it could be slippy! Although I think the ones which only show one of your legs (from the side or slightly to the side) work well.

I like the one of you gathering up your skirt to lead Freckles, as it seems to tell a humerous story about a horsewoman who got married dressed very lady like, then rolled up her skirt, revealing quite practical but still stylish cowboy boots, and got on with the horsey jobs in a workmanlike manner, and I can see a lot of horsey brides quite liking that :D

For me it's 09 , 15 , 31 60 and 123 , i also prefer 80 in the series under the tree as you are both filling the image more , we can see yours and your horses eyes.

MONIKIRK - HA HA!! I wish, sadly there is a man! We got married in 2008 :D thats what I wear up the yard though, I thought I was normal! :D

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback :) I Agree it is very hard to pick! Naturally, I will report back as this will be the first of many for Gail. Hopefully the bookings will come flooding in for her :)

OK I've done these numbers wrong, they're the numbers on the end of te URL, I'm sure you can work it out!

Not that keen on the ridden ones, sorry. Love the first one under the tree (distance shot). Some brilliant ones with you just stood with him, and where you're walking down the track (facing the camera).

:D

I have only had him 7 weeks and he has just turned 6 :D So NO he is mine all mine :D I love him to death! Thanks again everyone for all the input, very much appreciated!

If it didn't have that godawful stupid white writing all over the pics, I might have been able to give an opinion, from what I can "actually" see, the only thing I can say you and your horse look lovely ;)
