OMG has anyone seen the weather forecast?

Just seen weather on TV says it's going to be -5C tomorrow (saturday) night and -4C on sunday!!!

EAK! That's not good. Extra rugs for my boys then as they all live on top of the hill where it will be even colder.

I like the cold weather - its a good excuse to hide my flab under layers of clothing

I won't be able to get away with it so easily once the weather starts warming up and the thinner shirts come out.

No Excuse you need to dig out a tight white/light coloured top instead of the black tent sized fleece you wear that would fit two of you in!

Oi, i like my black tent sized fleece ! The extra air space inside it provides an excellent insulating layer

just put pjs on my horse - a nice fleece snuggy hood! looks an idiot but is very toasty!

Well then you'll just have to work twice as hard tonight and then when you take off the tent I'm going to hide it!

I'm hoping Daisy might run around abit to keep warm and burn a few calories off. I'm thinking that as long as it stays dry she should be alright out in the field

It says it's going to be minus 4 here.

I've just been and checked our babies (yearling, 3yo, 4yo, 5yo brood mare) and they're all out with no rugs on, but they've all got toasty ears. I was trying to persuade them to go in the field shelter but they decided they'd rather be at the hayrack.

The daytime forecast may be cold for the weekend but its going to be glorious weather, not a cloud in sight, blue skies and sunshine....perfect.

sounds like you're worried about it getting cold. currently -4 degrees here, and expected to fall to around -10 later. zero degrees tomorrow daytime, and similar temps tomorrow night. now that's chilly.....

id much rather very cold and dry than milder and wet!
only owrry i have is lami with frost and the gound being uneven and them running about.

It was minus 7 here this morning Brrrr.

Horses all seem pretty warm with just one big duvet rug on tho?! fully clipped too.

Been a glorious weekend tho
