Do you ever think your horse is poo & then realise there are those with a MUCH higher 'poo factor' out there?

So, the Black Baggage doesn't DO much, doesn't KNOW much but she is forward going, intelligent, has a good jump, is 'fun', has a good relationship with MD (actually, I think they might be totally 'in love'! lol), is reasonably shapely & will have a go at anything asked of her!

Fellow livery tried out new horse today - it napped for England, threatened to buck, roll & anything else you care to name & then rather ungenerously threw poor MD off when (unlike its rather nervous owner!) she insisted it both could & would move away from the gate & trot!
(She wasn't particularly nervous or worried, just a total c*wbag, really knew how to turn herself inside out to get her off too, so well 'practised'! I think!)

Black Baggage - all your instances of bucking, tanking, refusing to stand, refusing to stand still.............are FORGIVEN!

BB is wonderful, MD loves her to bits! They really seem to have clicked!
They've been together for about 6 weeks now but bonded (yeah, I know that sounds a bit 'fluffy bunny'! lol) almost straightaway, despite BB's naughty moments!

i feel like this about maisie. although she is no top class show pony or 3 day eventer, and a bit sharp in traffic and can be stubborn, she loads and travels, is soooo well behaved on a showground it is unreal, does dressage sj hacks etc, i am thankful for her!

Hurrah for Maisies, BBs, SWUOs & Ginger Beasties then, who are actually not that bad really, all things considered! We may moan about them sometimes & perhaps even wish they were a little more speedy, capable, obedient, talented or whatever but there really is a helluva lot worse out there!

(Didn't include PF in the above little list, as we know she IS actually........perfect!

I think LBO (like PF - the horse! lol) was born perfect! Actually, truthfully, he was sympathetically broken in & has been well-schooled & treated his whole life & it shows!

We haven't really done anything much with BB, the only logical explanation is that she hated the jointed snaffle she was in, or at least hated the way she had to be 'controlled' in it!
Her current bit requires only a light touch & she accepts & respects it! It's the only thing I can think of really, as we haven't had her long enough to have made such a dramatic change to her general demeanour!
