About 10 years ago I was friends with a lady who had an Akhel Teke stallion called Goklen. He was 1 of only 12 in the country at the time and she was under pressure to keep him entire, although she really wanted to geld him as he was too much for her.
She showjumped him to discovery and did novice dressage too. She also tried to event him once, but he got distracted by an in season mare just before the xc and nearly had her off. He was quite dangerous and had never been allowed to mix with other horses.

She sold him not long after to America, and just by chance I came across this.

I'm so pleased he now has a lovely life, and still has his balls! Looks to be quite succesful too

Am off to a 'Video Night' at Ruth's next Monday, so will try and download it and play it on the night ..... It's Jane's Birthday and she will be there and I will see if she recognises him

... in my reckoning he must be nearly 20 now tho

If I remember correctly he was a year older than Rocky.
Rocky is 17 this year!!! so that makes Goki 18.

God I feel old!
