Asked for the prices of saddles on THIS website...
I like the Adriano (in black) and it costs...............
.............. £200!

I LOVE Santa Cruz saddles and have already got 2 (well, I'd have 2 if mine had ARRIVED from the bl**dy SADDLER by now!) They've even got the exact same model I bought for PF (and is now missing- I know, I do go on a bit...

Is it very wrong to have 3 saddles for one horse??????

woo, toddles off for a look, if theres nothing wrong with 3 saddles for 1 horse, then theres definately nothing wrong with 4 saddles for 2 horses
 
WOW ! those saddles are lovely! Do they fit the horses well? or are they only right for a particular shape? Can you send them back if they are not right?

Well, the one I bought for PF fits her beautifully; it has quite 'flat' panels. Then I bought another (I'm a junkie!) and the panels are rounder so it's not a good fit on her (I was told it was the same model but it wasn't) but it fits Antifaz fine with a back saver pad. Actually, PF's saddle also fits him quite nicely. The people on the website are very helpful, I expect you'd be able to send them a template of your horse's back to help choose a saddle

Because this is Argentina and saddles are very, very cheap. Did you know that Whittaker, Pessoa and Anky saddles are made here by a company called Ruiz Diaz?

I emailed them. I actually hinted that I'd quite like a full price list, but they just quoted for the saddles I liked (same price)

Yes, email them and yes, the leather is very good. My first black saddle faded a bit on the seat (probably unsurprising considering how sunny it is here) but I dyed it and it came up good as new

I was going to add that to the end of my post but I didn't want to ruin the dream!!!! Im sure I could scrape a couple hundred quid together, I might have to sell my body but hey ho i'll have a new saddle out of it!!
