Its absolutly freezing out there!!!! the winds bitter cold. Havent felt this cold for agessss :-(
Put gees out for an hour then got them in again, poor old girlie was shivering like mad even though she was rugged from top to toe. fields are flooded, its mad!!!!!!
I know we needed rain but this is rediculous :-/

Brought all mine in last night, and wont be turning them out today until this horrendous weather eases - howling gale, torrential rain, fields flooded ...

Sitting inside, with the heating on - ENOUGH NOW!

East coast of Norfok is fuffing freezing, blowing an absolute hoolie and it has rained so much the dykes are full to bursting!! I've got swans, ducks and geese swimming in the fields, put the boys out for an hour while I mucked out and got in 2 very dirty horses who looked like they had been swimming in the mud!!

Pony is still in at night but despite this weather no way woud he stay in today :D he is behind the house so will bring him in nice and early and have a good groom :) we have ducks swimming in the field lol, i'm chilling havinga duvet day x

well the weather reports say may is going to be the coldest ever on record!! please say its not so!!

which weather report are you looking at archiepoo? Like the rest of the country I have had enough of this awfull weather. There just doesn't seem to be any let up. I'm stressed about the state of my paddocks and the horses are throughly fed up.

It's a bit ironic though that a few weeks ago we were all moaning how dry it was and how people were doing rain dances. Huh, you should all know by now how mother nature has a habit of sorting her self out!

Off to do a sun dance now, anyone want to join me? lol

Our two are free range, access to fields/stables at all times and are choosing to stand in, it must be bad when the laddo wants to be inside, it doesn't help having underground streams coming through the fields and exiting at the barn door
Bring on summer I say
