I've just printed off N20 from dressage diagrams and there is no-way I am going to remember all of that!!

On the plus side, it does include a stretch down in trot - chance to pick up some marks which are certain to be thrown away from errors of course!

Has anyone ridden the test, and if so, what does it ride like?

Yes I've ridden it. I found it a bit too busy for my already busy horse!! It would suit my other ned better who needs something to do in the test to show him off a bit.
I didn't find it flowed all that well, but would like to ride it again on the other one to see how it goes then.

Good luck!

I wouldn't say it's the best test for your first novice, no! Not unachievable, but I don't know who's idea it was to number is No20 - I thought it was supposed to be the lower the number, the less complicated the test?!

I just received my copy through the post..... and nearly had a heart attack

I have qualified for a local RC dressage championship in June and its novice 20. I have had one bash at N21 on Joe so thought N20 would be about the same if not a bit easier. It reads like its busy and we struggle with "busy" test. I can already pick out the bad bits and the worse than bad bits

I can already see the 4's on the sheet with the -2,-2,-2 for course errors

I'm going to have a go providing I can find a decent caller.........will not remember all that

I'm doing this test on Saturday and am dreading it!!

We haven't been out for 9 months and haven't done Novice for longer than that! Seemed a good idea at the time, but am now looking forward (not!) to lots of low numbers!!

Schooled yesterday and my dear hormonal beastie is now in season and we couldn't even get a 20 metre circle in trot that looked the right shape and she had the attention span of a knat!

Oh and its forecast to be 22 degs on Saturday and our time is slap bang in the middle of the day - horse absolutely loathes the heat and is a lazy whatsit at the best of times!

Its going to go brilliantly!! (I must repeat 100 times.....!!)
