Beggars belief - not just because I have a feeling that the root cause of this Haflinger's bucking is down to poor saddle fit (not just the saddle being used in the video, but with it's owners, I know how hard it is to get a saddle to fit a Haff!), but the fact he gets on, once the leg is tied...and other things...

Yep like that strap being on for a few seconds cured it. He's had it on a lot longer than that. Did you watch the next one in the "series". The pony is standing there heaving. The saddle was appalling.

To tie the horses left leg up, then attempt to mount from the floor on the left side with a saddle that's not tightened properly is a total joke!

I left a comment stating that I hope when the horse got his leg back he kicked the bloke in the arse for being a tit!!

What does this man think he's acheiving?!! He's not training that animal he's just dominating it with archaic methods!!

How unpleasant of him, they did this 'method' in the horse whisperer and it was horrific!

These things always say the horse was due to be put down... Why? Because it is too clever to bow down and let you ride it?

That saddle is shocking and the cinch is almost fastened like a buck strap!

That was painful to watch, and what did it actually teach it? That it can't buck when it's leg is strapped up - lucky if it doesn't learn to rear, or roll with a rider on!

Damn fool calls him self a horse trainer he can't even rig his saddle correctly even after tightening his cinch that saddles all over the place its badley rigged and likely not even the correct fit for the horse stupid stupid man.
His round pen is far too small theres no room to work the horse i didnt see a single good thing in his training programme

As if the whole thing isn't bad enough, he then mounts the horse on the side with a strapped up leg!! With a loose cinch. Beggars belief.
