I got through to the final of something very similar to this a couple of years ago, run by Blue Chip.. i didn't have a horse then either, so asked the Wiegersmas, and they lent me Shabrak

If mine were fitter you could have him, but as he only started trotting again yesterday, and won't canter till the weekend I have a feeling it might kill him! Plus he is probably not quite up to 2* level stuff just yet....

Tried to PM you - but you're full.

You are very welcome to try Thumper - I've not done much jumping with him, but he came from a showjumping yard. I don't know exactly what you need - but he may be up to the job for you.........

Looking like we'll grab Squeaky away from his hunting home!! hope he doesn't have a spaz attack up there!!

Thanks for the offers guys!!

Hope i don't make a prat of myself up there.. the only fences i've jumped in the last few weeks have been hurdles and schooling fences.. i'll prob. be seeing very long strides

Not exactly sure what i'll have to do.. there's 4 of us (one other HHO'er

) we have a lesson for 1 and a half hrs.. at the end of that they pick 2 people to be part of the team... what you do for the lesson i don't know..
bit of flat work and a bit of jumping at a guess.

Oh yes, i know who you mean!

It sounds really exciting - well done again, im sure you will do really well

(i would offer you Archie as hes got a cracking jump, but if he was having an argumentative day i wouldnt wish him on anyone!!)

lol.. Squeak is exactly the same!! to the point that if he's in a bad mood, i can't stay on him for more than a split second!! therefore i shall be showing the art of falling off!!

I'll ask mum but i'm sure you could borrow Boo? I've been working extremely hard on the flat and doing lots of gridwork with him. He has a passion for his jumping but if it's too small, he can't be bothered

You're not that far from us, you could always come out and try him?
