Haha! I think my poor old girl would have a heart attack if I put her on a horse! She's a sensitive old lass and far too emotional!

Bless her... Much easier to traumatise them when they're young and get them used to the idea that odd things happen but it's all ok before they get set in their ways

She's always been like it we've had her since she was 2 and she's 'rising 14' now.
One of the funniest things she's scared of is yogurt pot lids! All because I once dabbed her on the nose with one when she was roughly 4 and she's never forgotten!
For some unknown reason, my mother thinks it's cruel for me to bombproof the dog, but actually buys me things to bombproof Ned with!! No logic there

A, I would say that by 2 you've missed a number of the critical periods during which young animals learn very rapidly and are capable of absorbing massive amounts of information / adjusting very easily to new situations. You can still teach things at other times, but if the right basis has been laid during critical periods, it's a lot easier! Interesting business, actually. Not in keeping with the thread though

I think i might be the most mean mummy in the world!
First of all, i overrug it but i also make sure that it can't move so doesn't get any warmer:
then, i make it wear complete un matchy matchy:
at the age of 2years old she has been jumping xc fences and she has also been show jumping many times:
after all this, i make it sleep in a bucket:

She's a miniature poodle 
she's a princess really, she doesn't like to get her feet dirty so jumps over puddles, now imagine what that looks like when we're going for a walk in the rain

You should have backed him months ago - if you leave it til he's 4 years old, you'll have problems
