Is fantastic. I am so glad it's just down the road and may have to actually move closer so I can pretty much live there.
They have turned the front field in to one mahoosive all weather arena and the outdoor arena in place of the old one is also massive.
It seems really continental, should be a great asset to us in the West Country. Bacon rolls were very average mind you, and 3 quid.......

Wish we had something like that up in my part of the UK. There's a massive new centre opened up but its down near Glasgow somewhere (4/5 hour drive!). Damn it! Im jealous

We are lucky to have it - just needs to be used. Its so close for me and looks like I will need to be doing a lot more SJ so think I will be there quite often!

Just returned from Summerhouse thought that was a really nice event. Great catering and only £2.20 for a cheese burger!

Catering at Summerhouse is fantastic!! Did you have a good day? We took Deri to jump proper jumps and she was a superstar, the 70 & 80cm classes were ideal. I stayed long enough to pop round the BN, which was up to 1m in the 1st round. That was cool as I was thinking it would be a little piddly, but I was suprised. Sienna jumped really well, though rider error did cause one pole to fall...

Sounds like a good day

Would have popped down had I known you were there, any excuse to get away from revision!!

Tis nice isnt it? Theyre putting in more outdoors and that other front field is going to turn into a derby course as far as I understand- that will be fun!!

I wish I'd given you a shout now, though we are planning on taking the girls to Wick on Saturday if you are about.
It's seriously lovely there and incredible having a warm up which is about an acre.
The girls were super - if a little butch, Sienna was rolling her eyes at Deri and calling as we went into the 1st fence

The one we knocked down was almost entirely my fault, but really not helped by the fact it was right by the lorry and Sienna was staring at Dei and not the jump....

God Sienna is such a lezza, silly tart!!
I've got Pontispool on Saturday- finally be back eventing! Exams finish Friday so may be more than slightly hungover at Pontispool

How is Moon's sj career going?

I dont think she'll get her out to any shows, they've been in Auvers so I have been and undone all her good work (though I have to say, at the beginning of the session she was jumping beautifully

)
They may go somewhere mid-week and we're off to Pontispool on Saturday.

I didn't see you

I got there just as they were giving out prizes in the BN. We must have missed each other by minutes.

It is lovely. Did you see the size of the bank in the Derby Ring? It is enourmous and has about 3 tiers on it.

I had a good day came 2nd in the 90cm Amateur so I've qualified for the regional now

However I rode like a pleb in the 1m and had 4 faults.

If I hadn't had to pick Charlie up I would have stayed and probs done the last two classes, though we had a long enough day as it was. I didn't realise you were going though, or I would have been more organised. Loved it though, shall go back, just need to move Deri up to BN and we can come and play at proper parties.

Well Wick normally do tickets at £3 and they have a 85cm open on saturday, then BN, Disco, 1m Derby

, 1.05 and 1.10/new if you haven't seen the schedule yet....

It was nice at The Hand, wonder how long before the derby ring is finished. We won't have to go to Wales and West anymore in a minute.

We're going, sounds perfect for Deri and I can do a couple of classes. Picked the schedule up today. You going?
Sienna (even if I do say it myself) is brilliant at Derbys so can't wait to have a proper go

Yes, I'm going and then to Area 41 show on sunday which is up near thornbury somewhere. Free tickets all day for non members it has a BN, 1m, 1.05 derby, 1.10 and a 1.20.

Have you been to Wick House before? The derby has a small bank and a devil's dyke that a lot of horses nap like mad at and won't go near. I'm doing the 1m and 1.05.

Well Will is actually quite a good groom and Charlie takes good pics so I may just employ them for the day.... We spent the day I Casualty after Summerhouse, with Will. Complete false alarm but gp thought he had appendicitis

Bad mum!!
