I can't believe it!!
He had the dentist and actually enjoyed having his teeth done
(does have a wolf tooth that will need to come out in the next 6 months)
Then I clipped him, obviously not been done before but just stood there munching hay
Dentist had said it was fine to ride and as there were some jumps up I got one of the young women (very experienced and kind) to see what he thought of them. He had also never been in the indoor school before and he took it all in his stride and popped everything she pointed him at including planks, fillers etc as calm as anything, lovely rythmn, no rushing or anything
He was a star NO I Take that back he is a SAINT!!!!!!!
So tomorrow I will ride him myself for the first time since the day I tried him. I have had to be extra careful and get others to just try him out because of my still fractured ankle
I can't tell you how much I love this young horse already (even before the jumping, he has so got under my skin already)!!
