Having never done a dressage test in my life and having a green pony I am thinking of giving on line dressage a go. which is the best one to go for? I want to start with a very basic walk and trot test. Only have a field to ride in but can set up a rough school area. Any one else do on line tests without a school?

You can set out a grass arena with home made markers, and no need for arena boards. You'll need to get the dimensions right, though, so a 40m x 20m or a 60m x 20m arena. Run over it with a mower on a high cut to get rid of clumps of grass or weeds if necessary.

That's all I used for for many years til we got a 'proper' arena put in, though I did paint some white boards which were made from reclaimed wood.

Good luck.

We used to do Dressage At Home & International during the lockdowns and I think they're still going. Very helpful feedback and comments on scoresheets. I know there are quite a few organisations that do it though so don't know how these compare.

I used dressage anywhere, and found it very easy, I did use a school but will be doing one this/next month without a school
