12 months ago I found you; my equine soul mate, my beautiful boy.

I have loved you since the day I saw you; although others wondered why at first! As the year has gone by you have blossomed to be the beautiful boy on the outside that you are on the inside.

You have brought light to our lives; through the darkest of times, and I owe you so much already.

Hacking, showing, beach rides, dressage and even cross country you will turn your hoof to anything with unbounded enthusiasm. I am never happier than when I am with you.

So here’s to many more years together – Sidney I love you.

Had my boy 18 months so exactly where you're coming from.

During the summer I used my dog trimmers with a comb attachment but he's clipped out now so I just did it with them.

This is such a lovely thread. Congratulations to you and your fabulous Sidney, he looks and sounds like the horse of a lifetime. It's so nice to hear about the rock solid relationship you have and how much you mean to each other. I've gone all soppy now!

Its a year since I got Micah and I feel just the same. We haven't been able to do as much as you yet because of my ankle but hopefully next year

We've been lucky and have managed to get out and about and do so many bits of things - which I think is really important for a youngster.
