As photographer of horses, and having done a few local shows as main photographer, I am putting together a portfolio (printed).
I am using my photos taken at the shows, some include children/young riders.
I was unsure if I could use the young riders in the portfolio, or whether I need permission from parents? Obviously at the event, they knew a photographer would be there and were happy to pose.
The portfolio would be at the yard I am now at, for people to view.

Thanks for any info

It would depend on what disclaimer the shows used when advertising that there was a photographer? If they used a disclaimer in the schedule or there was access to one at the show then yes it would be fine but if not unfortunatly if the child is under 16 then you would need permission from their parents.
